Norse Adolescent

In the development of Norse Adolescent, researchers have relied on studies conducted at Helse Førde.

This research has focused on identifying the needs that young people believe a feedback system should include. One major difference between Norse for adults and youth is that young people are clear that they should decide for themselves which topics they want to provide feedback on. In the development of Norse Adolescent, focus group interviews have been used to gain the best possible insight into what young people believe a feedback system needs in terms of statements and language. Additionally, focus group interviews have been conducted with practitioners to ensure their input is also considered. Currently, version 1 of Norse Adolescent is in use, but there is ongoing work on a revision that includes both statistical (item response theory) and professional revisions based on focus group interviews with youth and healthcare professionals. Scientific articles have been published about the development process.
